Laughable Moments Recalled
Because I have not been the best at keeping a journal, short Theo blurps find their way to his blog. The first happened back on his birthday, 3 months back. He received a big brown box in the mail, and when asked what he thought was in the box, he replied..."Ummm...The Lorax!"...This caught me totally off guard, as his typical response had been..."A book!" I went to Dr. Seuss' Lorax and sure enough- right inside the cover is picture of the Once-ler, in a boarded up box. The Lorax has certainly captured his imagination, as the Dr. hoped it would.
The next story is more recent. It comes from that lovely day when we went off day light savings...We came out of the sitter's house, and Theo said, "Mommy, where'd the sun go?!" In a disappointed tone, I said, "I don't know, I think it must have gone to sleep." Theo then piped up, "I want it to come back NOW!" Me too theo, M-E T-O-O!
